Las Fallas 2018 – the most awaited time of the year for all pyro lovers in Valencia is here. Mascletàs are on every day at 14 in Plaza Ayuntamiento, the fallas monuments are being built in the streets and the air is filled with excitement. On Friday 9th of March there is a concert of Rock FM in Jardínes Viveros in the spirit of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones as two bands that completely changed the popular music scene. The gates open at 20:30 and the concert starts at 21:30. The tickets are free and you can collect them beforehand here.

Friday is also an inauguration day of illuminated streets in Valencia. It starts at Valencia beach at 20:00: Malvarrosa-Antonio-Ponz-Cavite. If you can’t make it at 20:00, you can watch the show with music every following half an hour after that (the last show is at 23:00). The inauguration of Sueca-Literato Azorín takes place at 20:15 and at 20:30 fallas Cuba-Puerto Rico and Cuba-Literato Azorín perform their spectacle.

On Saturday 10th of March at 00:00 don’t miss the fireworks (Castillo de Fuegos) in Plaza Ayuntamiento under the patronage of Pirotecnica Hermanos Caballer.

On Sunday 11th of March at 11:30 you can look forward to Conciero Extraordinario de Fallas. At 18:00 Cabalgata del Patrimonio de la Humanidad starts at Mercado Central and continues along avenida María Cristina, plaza del Ayuntamiento de Valencia and Marqués de Sotelo. The parade ends at Instituto Lluís Vives around 21:00.

Remember that you have the last chance to visit the Ninot exhibition in the City of Arts and Sciences and vote for your favourite ‘ninot’ because it ends on 15th of March when the fallas monuments will be built in the streets.
