Ruzafa is an eclectic neighbourhood where you can enjoy everything from a beer or a cocktail to a traditional Agua de Valencia. With its unique atmosphere, cultural diversity and lively social scene, Ruzafa is undoubtedly one of the most famous, dynamic and cultural neighbourhoods in Valencia.
Located halfway between the City of Arts and Sciences and Valencia city centre, this neighbourhood offers an excellent location. At the end of one of its main avenues, you can easily reach the City of Arts and Sciences and the Turia Gardens by bike.
If you are looking for an urban green space closer to home, you will also find Valencia’s Central Park, one of the city’s newest urban parks. Quatre Carreres is a quiet neighbourhood with relatively few tourists, making it a great place to experience everyday local life and practise your Spanish while shopping in the area’s local shops and businesses.
It is the neighbourhood furthest from our school, but also one of the quietest and closest to the sea. Cabanyal is a traditional fishing district, with pedestrian streets and many unique local businesses housed in beautifully renovated spaces with interesting and original décor. If you choose to stay in this neighbourhood, you will be just 5 minutes from the beach and can enjoy living so close to the sea, just as you have always dreamed. Valencia is a city where the sun shines almost all year round, and Cabanyal is the perfect place to make the most of it.
Located halfway between our school and the beach, this area of Valencia is a neighbourhood of contrasts, where modern and historic buildings stand alongside a variety of parks and green spaces. It is also very close to the Turia River and its beautiful gardens.
If you enjoy sports and relaxing outdoors, Las Artes is an excellent choice. The Turia Gardens are full of wonderful places to explore, exercise and enjoy nature right in the heart of the city.
One of the best ways to integrate into Spanish society is through socialising, and choosing a shared apartment is a great way to do so. This is the newest addition to our shared apartment accommodation options. Located in Valencia’s Giorgeta neighbourhood, the apartment is situated on one of the city’s main avenues, making it very well connected. It is bright and conveniently located close to the high-speed train (AVE) station, as well as the Central Park, one of the city’s main green spaces.
During your stay, you will share the apartment with a Spanish family and their daughter, giving you the opportunity to immerse yourself in everyday Spanish life and experience local customs and routines from the inside.
Although it may feel similar to staying with a host family, you will have complete freedom to manage your own schedule and enjoy the shared spaces independently.
