In today’s post we talk about the main acts and events of the last days of the Fallas of Valencia 2022. Take a look at the blog of our Spanish language school, El Rincón del Tándem, to make plans for this weekend of Fallas 😊

In today’s article we will talk about the programme of the Fallas of Valencia 2022. Although the celebrations started at the beginning of the month, the next few days represent the climax of the most representative festival of the city.

So that our Spanish course students don’t miss the opportunity to get to know Valencia’s biggest festival, we leave below the calendar of the main events.

Let’s go there!

Ofrenda a la Virgen de los Desamparados

With the Ofrenda, all the fallera commissions pay homage to the statue of the Virgen de los Desamparados, offering bouquets of flowers. The falleros and falleras parade in traditional costumes and converge in the Plaza de la Virgen, where the event takes place.

Cavalcade of Fire

The cavalcade heralds the Cremà, with a suggestive parade of masks, costumes, music, powder and floats. Fire is the main element of this event to remind us of the imminent end of all the fallas.

The parade starts at 6pm and the route goes from Ruzafa Street to Puerta de la Mar square.

Cremà of the fallas infantiles

The Cremà is the final act with which the fallas, the wooden and cardboard monuments set up in various parts of the city, are set alight. The event begins with the bonfires of the fallas infantiles and then continues with the rest of the fallas.

We hope you enjoy this great festival and continue learning Spanish in a fun and enjoyable way.

In our Spanish school we have already done a cultural gymkhana through the fallas with all our Spanish students 😊
El Rincón del Tándem in Valencia wishes you a happy Fallas weekend.

¡Hasta pronto!
