Today we dedicate our post to Russafart and other festivals in Valencia. The capital of the Turia celebrates the arrival of summer with annual festivals, which are essential dates on the city’s cultural agenda. Our Spanish shcool, El Rincón del Tándem, tells you everything in this post. Take a look! 😊

This weekend we encourage you to participate in the activities and events of Russafart and other festivals in Valencia.
Valencia has many initiatives that promote culture while supporting local talent and celebrating the identities and particularities of its neighbourhoods.

In order for our Spanish school students to make the most of their stay in Valencia, we have selected a few key events for this weekend.

Let’s take a look at them in detail!

Russafart 2022

From Friday 3 to Sunday 5
Several places in the Ruzafa neighbourhood

After the break due to the last few years of pandemic, Russafart is back. An essential date on the Valencian cultural agenda and an emblematic festival in the Russafa neighbourhood.

As usual, numerous artists and collectives will be opening the doors of their workshops. Also, many spaces and shops will be collaborating with this event in Ruzafa.

Throughout the weekend, visitors will be able to see first-hand the work of local artists, visiting workshops, galleries and exhibition spaces. Here you can consult the map and design your own artistic route through the neighbourhood 😊

In addition, the Festival has organised a series of workshops and parallel activities and a fast-painting competition.

Finally, we are happy to remind you that our Spanish language school, El Rincón del Tándem, also participate in this edition of Ruzafart 🙂

Throughout the weekend, our classrooms will become exhibition spaces, hosting the photographic work of the artists Víctor Moneva, Carlos Soler, Valeria Floridia, Ernest Zurriaga and Giovanni Riccò.

Tomorrow, Friday 3, the opening of the exhibitions will take place at 7pm, while Saturday and Sunday it will be possible to visit the exhibitions at the following times:

Saturday from 10am to 2pm and from 5pm to 9pm.

We look forward to seeing you at the school! 😊

Under the slogan “me llaman calle”, Ruge Rosario returns this year to fill the streets with art, music, dance and lots and lots of joy.

Like Russafart, this festival aims to be a revitalising event for the neighbourhood, creating meeting spaces and participative activities open to the public.

The festival’s programme includes a variety of activities. In fact, there will be:

  • Balconciertos: Routes of concerts on the most typical balconies of the neighbourhoods
  • Crafts market in Plaza Calabuig
  • Concerts and DJ sessions in Plaza del Rosario
  • A dance class, a meeting between dance communities and inclusive dance

  • A tapas route and other family activities.

It sounds too good to miss, doesn’t it? 😉

For the tenth time, El Perelló is once again hosting the Fair dedicated to its star product.

The Fairgrounds will also host a Music Fest, in the Leisure Area, which will liven up these days with DJ sessions and a range of cocktails and aperitives.
