For this first weekend of December, we have selected some events to delight the palate and the ear.
After a week of Spanish classes, it’s time for our students to enjoy a break and the Valencian cultural life.
Have a look below and let us inspire you in your weekend plans…
Gastronetas Food Festival
Friday 3, Saturday 4 and Sunday 5
Town hall square in Picassent
One of the most eagerly awaited gastronomic events for street-food lovers has arrived.
Gastroneta Food festival is an initiative that already has 20 editions throughout the Valencian Community. This year, for the third time, the Picassent Town Hall square will be the setting for this tasty and colourful festival.
8 foodtrucks will light up their cookers so that the public can enjoy an international gastronomic offer. All street food dishes will be prepared with love and mostly with artisanal and organic ingredients.
A true slow food and gourmet version of street food…
In addition, these three gastronomic days will be accompanied by live musical performances and activities for families.
And to give it a Christmas touch, on Saturday at 6pm the event will be inaugurated with the Christmas lights switch-on…
Dissabtes a la fábrica. Música en vivo
Saturday 4 at 1.00pm and at 8pm
La Fábrica de Hielo, Calel José Ballester Gozalvo 37
We move on to the beach for a Saturday of live music.
La Fábrica de Hielo is one of the liveliest and most atmospheric venues in Cabañal, whose evenings often feature live music.
This Saturday we will be able to attend a double session of music:
- Concert by Marla Cross at 1pm. Artist whose repertoire is inspired by folk, indie and pop music.
- Midi Jazz Club, at 20.00h. Musical encounters between jazz and electronica, led by musician and producer Max Montoya.
Sounds too good to miss, doesn’t it? 😊
Sunday 5 at 8pm
Matisse Club, Calle Campoamor 60
Fee: 10 euros
The Matisse Club, resumes its Cuban Party cycle!
These musical evenings are dedicated to various genres of Latin music, such as Latin-jazz, salsa, bachata, son, etc.
The musical sessions will be led by the group AR-Latin. A real explosion of Latin sounds that will fill the room with energy and good atmosphere.
An ideal Sunday plan to start the week with joy 😉
Finally, we hope that our selection of weekend events will encourage you to spend two wonderful days of music and gastronomy in Valencia.
