Neighbourhood festivals are a fundamental part of Valencia’s cultural agenda.
In addition to Ruzafa and Cabañal, the Benimaclet district also has its annual meeting with culture, social inclusion and local talent.

Benimaclet ConFusión returns this year to the streets, squares and other spaces of the neighbourhood as an occasion for meeting local people, visitors and all kinds of artistic and creative expressions.

The festival, which is just the final event of a year-round project, is inspired by the principles of collaboration, inclusion, equality and free expression.

As usual, the program of this VIII edition is very rich and divers and cover several areas, such as urban art, poetry, performing arts, music, talks and more. Events will take place in 40 different locations in the neighbourhood.

Like every October, one of the most anticipated events for cinema lovers returns to Valencia.

The Mostra de València is a festival dedicated to the cinema of the Mediterranean, which already has a long history.

In this 36th edition, the show celebrates the diversity and richness of the Mediterranean film world, with a wide range of screenings.

This year’s extensive programming is divided as always into categories and covers topics of great interest; such as feminism, equality, the condition of youth, the Arab Spring, and the great themes related to human condition.

The gastronomic fair is an event organized by the Mancomunidad del Hoya de Buñol-Chiva to promote the food products of the area and make them known in other localities of the Valencian Community.

Finally, the event includes other activities, such as talks and product tastings.

CCCC Music Lab. Jaime Allepuz en el dormitorio del CCCC

CCCC Música Lab is a project of the Centre del Carmen that promotes emerging musical talents through an experimental format.
In fact, the incubator supports the training and professional projection of the young people selected for the program through workshops and talks given by professionals from the music industry.

In addition, in parallel, the museum organizes concerts in which the musicians will present their personal project.

This Sunday, Jaime Allepuz, one of the emerging musicians, will give a concert accompanied by his guitar in an intimate format, in the room of El Dormitorio of the museum.

Finally, we inform you that these days is also held the Book Fair of Valencia. It will be possible to visit the Fair until October 24 in Jardines de Viveros.
