As a curiosity we tell you that its original name comes from the country of the vegetarian lion Kembo, protagonist of Carlos Pérez’s book and illustrated by Miguel Calatayud.

In the Gothic cloister of the CCCC the commercial fair of the illustrated book will be installed. In there, we will have the chance to catch up on the latest editorial news.

Also for the whole weekend, a Festival with very diverse activities will take place. Among them, workshops, talks, duels of drawings and an international exhibition.

There will even be activities for kids and other ones focused on professionals and the educational world.

Therefore, if you are involved in illustration, either as a professional or amateurs, or if you just like books, you cannot miss this event!

It will be a fantastic chance to discover everything about the illustrated book and even watch artists performing 🙂

Almuerzos culturales – Musicalizando a Warhol

Sunday 15th at 11 am

Amstel Art keeps hosting this interesting combination of events.

The “Almuerzos Culturales” is an initiative that combines local gastronomic traditions and emerging art. On the occasion of the almuerzo, we can also enjoy a new session of “Musicalizanod a …” whose absolute protagonist will be the Pop-Art iconic artist, Andi Wharol.

In this session, an expert will bring us through an artistic journey and explaining some works of the artist.

During this guided projection, the public will be asked to share the sensations experienced in seeing the works. The most frequent sensations will then be musicalized by a group of musician, in a spontaneous manner.

That sounds good, doesn’t it?

Finally, we inform you that access to the event is free while the price of the almuerzo is 6 euros.
