Today we are talking about some events so that you can enjoy a nice weekend of music in Valencia.

Whatever is your favourite musical genre, some (or all) of these musical proposals will surely be of interest to you.

MIC: Brasil y Medio Oriente

Friday, June 17, at 8pm
Terrace of the Public Library of Valencia, Calle de l’Hospital 13

MIC is a cycle of Contemporary Instrumental Music organised by the Public Library and the Rivendell Resto-bar. One of the restaurants in the Velluters neighbourhood, offering a varied and interesting cultural program.

The project aims to promote instrumental music in all its styles with weekly open-air concerts (every Friday in June).

Tomorrow, Friday 17th, the Brazilian group Aromas will perform, playing a repertoire that combines Brazilian rhythms with middle-eastern sounds.

Sounds too good to miss, doesn’t it? 😊

Gothejazz

From Thursday 16 to Sunday 19
Villa Eugenia, Godella (Valencia)

We continue our musical journey, moving on to Godella, which this weekend is hosting one of the most eagerly awaited musical events for jazz lovers.

Villa Eugenia will host the event, opening its doors to the public for a long weekend of mere musical enjoyment.
The line-up features leading musicians and groups from the jazz scene, almost all of whom live in Valencia. Among them, cellist Matthieu Saglio and the Perico Sambeat Flamenco Quintet.

A perfect occasion to enjoy quality musical evenings in a charming setting…😊

Palo Market Fest

From Friday, June 17th to Sunday, June 19th
Jardines de Viveros, Calle de Cavanilles 1
Tickets: 10-20 euros

After two years, the Palo Market Fest is back in the Jardines de Viveros. One of the most charming green spaces in Valencia.

With music being the key element of this event, there will be different stages where Spanish and international artists will perform. The musical line-up is very eclectic and includes all kinds of music ranging from R&B, hip hop, Latin pop, electronic, etc.

And to conclude, several DJs will make you dance, day and night.

As in previous editions, the festival also promotes talent and creativity, with areas reserved for artists, artisans and designers.

And, by the way, there will also be food trucks with their diverse gastronomic offer, which provide food from all over the world…

In short, if you want to enjoy good music, try new flavours and browse wonder around unique objects and items, you can’t miss this event!

EMT Fest

Saturday 18, from 7.30pm to 1am
Plaza del Ayuntamiento

This Saturday the Plaza del Ayuntamiento will host the EMT Fest.

To celebrate the inauguration of new bus lines offering night service, there will be a free concert in the heart of the city.
Various artists will liven up the party. Among them, Novembre Elèctric, the bands Pupil∙les and Ginebra.

In addition, the return home will be the perfect occasion to be able to use the new night bus lines for the first time, travelling for free.

Finally, the new lines that have been operational since last Wednesday mean that public transport by bus runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Another step towards an even more sustainable Valencia 😊
