Today we propose you two interesting plans for this weekend in Valencia. On the one hand, there is the Valencian version of the famous German party, Oktoberfest Olé. And on the other, there is Park Day which is a perfect idea to spend a day with the children.

If you do not know what to do in Valencia we propose two very fun plans for this weekend. In our Spanish school we try to offer our Spanish students activities to integrate 100% in the city and with the Valencians.

Do you feel like partying, lots of beer, sausages, music and contests? All this and much more you can find during Oktoberfest Olé 2018. It is a perfect plan to rest after your Spanish classes and have fun with your friends. Or do you prefer to spend a quiet day outdoors with your family? So, take advantage of the Park Days events!

Oktoberfest Olé

The Oktoberfest Olé is held from September 13 to 23 next to the Gran Turia shopping center. It is a popular German festival that carries a touch of Spanish culture. You can taste hundreds of types of beer, and savor the typical cuisine of the festival. If you dare, participate in the beer drinker contest. Or just pump it with your friends listening to music to the fullest.

The festival schedule:

From Monday to Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Weekend from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Park Days

On the 22nd and 23rd of September in the Jardines de Viveros, the Park Days are celebrated. From 10 a.m. many activities are organized for children in which adults can also participate. There will be many fun games, entertaining workshops and sports to get around. And to satisfy hunger, several food stalls will be open. Also, while the children are busy, parents can have a drink listening to live music. The most detailed information can be found here.

As you can see, there are many things you can do in Valencia. Each week we propose interesting plans and encourage our students to take advantage of their stay in Valencia. Also, participating in local events is a very fun way to learn Spanish.

Have a good weekend and until the next blog!
