Autumn arrives full of festivals and many plans for all tastes. In fact, there are plenty of activities for everyone: food lovers, nature lovers, art lovers, bicycle lovers and more.

Therefore, we encourage all our students of the Spanish course to go out and choose the plan that best suits them. Here below, you will find a selection of the events that have attracted our attention.

Let’s see what they are!

Spanish Hamburger Championship

Till the 29th September. From 12.00 pm. to 12.00 am.
Turia Park, between puente de las Flores and puente de la Exposición
Free entrance

Who does not like to enjoy a good hamburger, carnivorous or vegan?

Well, this weekend you will have the opportunity to try several. All of them, prepared with love and a lot of art by expert chefs from all over Spain.

The second edition of the National Hamburger Championship of Spain is back! In the Turia Park, 12 food trucks will compete with each other to offer us the most original recipe. Among the participants, there will be The Fitzgerald, 5 Bullets, The Began, The Mad Tarantin.

There will be a rich variety of recipes from which you can choose, with various types of meat or vegan versions for all tastes.

And, if after this delicious meal, you want to rest a bit you can enjoy the chill-out area or to digest with a gin tasting.

Finally, the championship will end on the 29th with the final evaluation of the recipes by a jury composed of professional chefs.
However, you also have the opportunity to express your opinion, voting for the hamburger you liked more here.

This way, you can see that Valencia is not just paella and tapas 😉

Miradors de l’Horta

Saturday, 21th and Sunday, 22nd.
Huerta de Valencia
Free event

The Huerta Design and Culture Festival is a unique opportunity to get to know closely the “huerta” world.

To begin with, you are all invited to explore its most emblematic places by bicycle.

In fact, the festival encourages us to participate in a sustainable way by making available to the visitors a route plan through the vegetable garden (Ciclorutas). The suggested route starts from the Alfafara del Patriarca Town Hall and passes along the roads of Vinales, Almassera and the Roca-Cuper neighborhood.

In all these stages it will be possible to see the ephemeral installations. That is, 3 artistic installations designed by Valencian designers in order to transmit the spirit of this area and its people.

And if you don’t have a bike, do not worry! In this link you can book one.

And what else can you do during this pleasant excursion?

For example, a lot of workshops. Among them, the garden, photo, dance and Valencian pilota workshops.

To rest, there will be musical performances and to recover strength you can always eat in the restaurants of this area and try their special dishes prepared on the occasion of the Festival.

Finally, do not forget to stop by the producers market, on Sunday 22nd, from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm. in Alquería de Roca! A perfect occasion to take home a good basket of local and seasonal products at Km0.

II Rueda Valencia

Till Sunday, 22nd
Several spaces
Free event

Our city never ceases to surprise us with unique and original initiatives 😉

In this case, we refer to Rueda Valencia. An international festival of cycling cinema that pays tribute to the most loved means of transport by Valencians.

The programming includes several types of cinema, such as documentaries, fiction and comedy. All projections are linked to the bike world, proposing different approaches.

In addition to the cinema, the cycling world will be celebrated with live music, acrobatics shows, article exhibition and bike associations.

Among all, we highlight an exhibition of bicycles, in which we will be able to appreciate classic, custom models or surprise ourselves with impossible bikes.

Finally, four spaces will host the activities of the Festival. La Sala Off, El Centro del Carmen, the Polytechnic University of Valencia and Café Negrito.

We invite you to check here the program and the schedule of the activities.
