Several restaurants
Menu price: 20-30 €

When we speak of Valencia, we speak of Paella. Every restaurant, every family, every house, every person has its own recipe.
Besides, each recipe has its trick, the traditional recipe of the grandmother, which makes every paella different from the rest.

This dish is so popular that few years ago Wikipaella was created, a webpage promoting different paella recipes, from the most traditional to the most avant-garde.
Wikipaella is also the promoter of “Semana de la Paella” Festival that takes place from the 20th to the 30th of June in Valencia.

In the framework of this event, several restaurants will offer special menus. At the price of € 20-€ 30 you will be able to enjoy a very special salad, authentic Valencian paella and a fantastic dessert.

Among the participating restaurants, we find Goya Gallery, La Marítima, El Palace Fesol o La Cigron and many more.

Finally, we invite you to visit the booking website and to decide where you want to eat today, tomorrow, on Saturday …
Finally, what do you want to eat? Paella, arroz a banda or black rice?

International LGTBI Pride Day

Friday, 28th, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th
Several venues

This Friday we celebrate the International LGBTI Pride Day, a very important day to reclaim the rights of the LGBTI group and to celebrate all the progress achieved so far.

For many years now, Valencia has been an open-minded city as far as this issue is concerned. In fact, the first parade held in the city goes back to the 70s.

Of course, over the years this celebration has evolved and increased in number of participants and performances, including all kinds of proposals.

From the Spanish school El Rincón del Tándem, we support and invite our students to participate in this great celebration.

This year the most important day will be Saturday, 29th. Nevertheless, Valencia has organized in the past month and will plan for the upcoming month, a list of activities to promote LGBTI rights.

Besides, on Saturday there will be a big parade, passing through the streets of the city. This year the motto is “València is the terra de les flors, of the llum i del color” (Valencia is the land of flowers, light and colors).

If you want to take a look at the Pride LGTB 2019 program in Valencia you can do it entering this link.

As you can see, the city of Valencia will be full of all kinds of activities related to the LGBT movement throughput June and July.

You cannot miss that!

We remind you that on this Saturday, 29th we will be waiting for you at 7:00 p.m. at the big parade that will take place throughout the centre of Valencia.

Finally, we hope that our students of the Spanish course enjoy this weekend for all tastes.

In addition, our Spanish school El Rincón del Tándem invites everyone to join the activities of the LGBTI Pride Day and to practice Spanish in the streets and squares of Valencia.

Have a good weekend!
